TMP116: Absolute maximum voitage of thermal pad for TMP116

Dear Sirs,

My customer asked us about absolute maximum voitage of thermal pad for TMP116.

He will measure of temperature of LED.

I think TMP 116 can not connect Thermal PAD directly to the signal line.
However, TMP 116 seems to be isolated from the die with epoxy.
What is the isolation of this epoxy?
There is no voltage spec concerning Thermal PAD in the data sheet.

Please let me know about the questions above.

Hello Yoshiki

The thermal pad for TMP116 must be either connected to GND or left floating. The epoxy may be conductive and for the same we are updating the datasheet which will be released soon.

To better illustrate the recommendation for TMP116 thermal pad is the same as TMP117 thermal pad.
