DRV425: The minimum magnetic field (B) which DRV425 can detect

Hi Team,

We would like to know the minimum magnetic field (B) which DRV425 can detect.

I guess that minimum B is around 10uT because the maximum offset 8uT.

Is my understanding correct?

Hello Hide,

Thanks for using the forum. If you can calibrate the offset you can get lower but you need to account for the noise. Please see these forum post for assistance. If these post lead to more questions please let me know. Also please note that field from either a magnet or a current source does not matter to the DRV425 as it is only a field sensor. So the source could be either.
