Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C1294NCPDT,
Just wonder if there is a code released for the MCU TM4C1294NCPDT acting as XDS110 on the IWR1443BOOST evaluation board.
Thanks a lot,
Henry

Hi Henry,
Could you please provide some information on why you need the source code for the XDS110 controller on board the IWR1443BOOST?
Thanks

Hi Nitin,
We want to fabricate a board similar to the IWR1443boost demo board so we could use the mmWave_Demo_Visualizer to communicate with and display the data and plots.

Hi Henry,
The procedure to program / update firmware on the XDS110 controller is provided in the XDS110 Debug Probe user guide. Please refer to section 3.7.3.2 Firmware Maintenance Utility - xdsdfu for details. TI provides the XDS firmware in pre-compiled binary form as mentioned in the user guide. Source code is not required to program the XDS110 debug probe.

Hi Henry,
As mentioned in the XDS110 Debug Probe user guide, the firmware file is available in the CCS installation at the path given below:
C:\ti\ccsv8\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110\firmware.bin
Thanks

Hi Nitin,
The radar demo board is using tis MCU as the XDS110:
TM4C1294NCPDT
So I just flash the mentioned bin file on the MCU and it will act as a separate XDS110 Debug Probe. Is that right?
Also, what is the input impedance of all the TX and RX antenna pins?
Henry lau
Hi Henry,
The procedure to update the firmware is described in detail in the user guide mentioned earlier. You will need to make sure that you are following all the other design considerations and interfaces required for JTAG to work. You can download the EVM layout, BOM and assembly files for the IWR1443BOOST from the IWR1443BOOST product page so please refer to that.
For your second question, please create a new thread so that it can be routed to the appropriate experts.
