Hello ,

I am going to test modified antenna design like Fig 7(b) in below document, which has 2 Tx by 'd' distance and 4 Rx by '2d' distance.

I am fine if you kindly let me know how/where to modify souce code in CCS in order to play the antenna on visualizer.

hello,

If I understand correctly the antenna you are proposing will have the same virtual antenna as the current ISK. Assuming so, I do not think the AoA needs to be changed significantly. If you change the assignment of the virtual antenna order you will need to make an update to the antenna configuration file. Excuse me for my slow response.

It seems information in the link you showed to me may not be enough for me.

Actually we are planning attached anntenna array in which two of MIMO antenna at both ends are not necessary.

I would like to know how to make antenna configuration file corresponding to our antenna array.

Hello Taka,

I am sorry I do not understand your attached antenna array. Why do you prefer 9x virtual antenna w/ lambda/2 spacing instead of 12x virtual antenna w/ lambda/2 spacing? You could have better angular resolution with your 4 RX at lambda/2 spacing and your 3TX at 2 lambda spacing.

Is this due to space constraints?

To understand how to modify the configuration please refer to this page as noted in the previous linked reply.

It gives the following instruction: "Antenna geometry is defined by two arrays of structures of type ANTDEF_AntOffset_t which hold the antenna position offsets, in multiples of lambda/2, in azimuth and elevation direction.

So for your arrangement that would be:
