Hello,
The 16xx labs have been migrated to the IWR1843 which is a more powerful device in the 76-81 GHz frequency range with 3 transmit channels (for 3D sensing), more memory and includes Radar Hardware Accelerator as well in addition to the C674x DSP. Software running on IWR16xx can be easily migrated to IWR18xx using the step by step instructions provided in the following migration guide:
Migrating to xWR68xx and xWR18xx Millimeter Wave Sensors
You can find more information about IWR1843 and the corresponding evaluation module from the following pages:
IWR1843
IWR1843BOOST
We recommend using the IWR1843 due to it's 3D sensing capabilities, more memory and added flexibility to deploy processing across the Hardware Accelerator and DSP.
The old 16xx labs can still be accessed by downloading previous versions of Industrial Toolbox using the instructions provided on the following page (Industrial Toolbox ReadMe section).
