PGA900: PGA900 programming

Part Number: PGA900
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA305, PGA300,

Dear sir,

1.Is it PGA900 only user programmable for temperature and non linerity compensation or like PGA300,PGA305 Third order temperature and Non linearity compensation available.

2.can pl provide the major differences between PGA300,PGA305,PGA900.

  • Hello Vinay,

The PGA300, PGA305, and PGA900 all include the same analog front-end and DAC output stage. The main differences are in the ADC resolution, digital interfaces, and the compensation algorithm.

The PGA300 and PGA305 include fixed temperature and nonlinearity compensation algorithms. The PGA900 has an open M0 microcontroller where the user will program their own compensation algorithm.

The main differences between the PGA300 and the PGA305 are that the PGA305 has a 24 bit ADC, while the PGA300 has a 16 bit ADC. Additionally, the PGA305 allows for I2C and OWI communication, while the PGA300 can only communicate through OWI.

The PGA900 can communicate through I2C, SPI, or OWI, and it has configurable ADCs that operate at 16 bit or 24 bit resolutions.

    Regards,
