Hi Gust,
Every TI temperature sensor is calibrated in the factory to ensure it meets it's datasheet specifications. TMP117 will be +/-0.1C accurate under the specified conditions without any further calibration. If you wish to apply an offset for your application, it can be stored in TMP117's offset register. This register is backed by EEPROM, so it can be retained on power cycle.
