As stated above, I am wondering how either the internal clock signal or an external reference clock is split up between everything inside the LDC1612 chip. Are there dividers in place to provide some sort of clock signal to the sensor? If so can the frequency of that signal be altered in some way?

The details of the clocking architecture is described in the datasheet in section 8.1.6 of the datasheet. The Clock source is selectable using an internal clock source or an external high precision clock. For high precision applications an external high precision clock is recommended as accuracy is dependent on the clock source.
