Clemens mentioned a very good resource to use if you want to get a quick idea of the differences between certain devices. The main differences between these devices is that the TS5A12301E has powered off protection which means that when the device is unpowered, the pins are protected from voltages seen on the inputs. Also, the packages are different as the TS5A12301E comes in a 6 pin packages versus an 8 pin package of the TS5A6542.

Besides that, the specs between these devices are very similar, and comes down to determining if your application needs powered off protection and solution size.
