CD74HC4066: Power supply voltage

Hi Team,

Hope this is the right forum I'm raising this query.

We're confused with the product page info of CD74HC4066. It tells the device can support 12V supply range, whereas datasheet shows HC types supply range of -0.5 to 10.5V. 

-in datasheet-  Absolute Maximum Ratings . . . DC Supply Voltage . . . HC Types . . . -0.5V to 10.5V
-in search results- Power supply voltage . . . single (V) . . . 12, 2.5, 3.3, 5

Can we use CD74HC4066 at 12V?

If the CD74HC4066 is not available at 12V, please correct the product page and search results.

    Hi Archie,

    The datasheet is correct. I understand this is frustrating and I will definitely echo this back to our team to try to get this resolved!

    That being said as a general rule of thumb the datasheets are way more likely to be correct because they have a stricter review process than the search results. So sometimes there is a small issue like this and its better to go with the datasheet information.
