Hi team,

Could you check if the unit for tON(EN) is correct for TMUX1574?

My customer thinks the unit should be ns order, not us.

Figures 17/18/19 confirm that this device is slow to start up.

Supporting signal voltages beyond the supply usually requires a charge pump, so this is plausible.

Hi Itoh,

As Clemens mentioned, Figures 17/18/19 confirm that tON(EN) is in the microsecond range. The exact tON/tOFF time will be influenced by the load on the signal path.

TMUX1209's tON(EN) is in ns order with similar load.

Could you let me know what is the cause of this huge difference?

The TMUX1209 does not allow signal voltages above VDD.

The TMUX1574 uses a charge pump to double the power supply voltage. Such a switching power supply needs some time to start up.
