What are the differences Between the 3257 switches?

Here is a comparison table between TI’s most popular Low Voltage SPDT four channel devices (2:1 4 channel). These devices are all pin to pin(p2p) drop in replacements, but have slight differences that are important in the decision-making process of which multiplexer to use in a particular application.

Some of the main differences in these devices are summarized below.

The SN3257-Q1 is the only Automotive qualified device on this list and can be used to switch low voltage  CAN   signals.

The SN74CBTLV3257 and TS3A5018 both have 6 package options while the TMUX1574 has 3 options and SN3257 has 2 options

The TMUX1574 also supports beyond supply operation powered which means from 1.5 V to 5.5 V, the valid signal path input/output voltage ranges from GND to VDD x 2, with a maximum input/output voltage of 5.5 V.  (For  example, if the TMUX1574 is powered at 1.5V, it can pass signals ranging from   0 V to 3 V)

In Addition the TMUX1575 is an  alternate of TMUX1574 with inverted logic control, available in WCSP package(60% smaller than UQFN Package) and has 1.2v logic support
