Inquiry regarding suit solution for bipolar input capability on analog switches

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS12A44513, TS3A227E, TS12A4517, TS5A22362, TS12A4516, TS12A12511, TS5A22364, TS5A22366

Hello, all

Now we have one inquiry regarding suit solution for bipolar input capability on analog switches from our customer.

Please refer to the item below, and feedback us with your comment.

Now we are looking for replaceable solution against DG413, which datasheet could be found on the website below;

www.vishay.com/.../dg411.pdf

TI website shows TS12A44513 on cross reference, however this device could not support bipolar input (+/-5V).

Please let us clarify whether you could recommend any other device which support this.

We thank you in advance for your information.

Best regards,

  • The cross reference is a match due to that channel count (4) and configuration (SPST).  Both the TS12A44513 and DG413 have this switch architecture.  You are correct that the TS12A44513 cannot support +/- 5 V inputs.

    What is that application that requires such a signal and needing the 4 channel SPST architecture?  It is possible that some of our other ICs that support +/- 5V input could work in the application even if it has a different architecture.

    TS12A4517, TS12A4516, TS12A12511, TS5A22362, TS5A22364, and TS5A22366 are some of our switches that will support +/- 5V inputs.  We also have some audio jack switches like the TS3A227E that can also handle the negative signals.

    Thank you,

    Adam
