HI Team, what happens in this condition with TS3A44159 inputs powered and Vcc not on, does the ESD input protection conduct?

    Alan,

    Correct, operating the TS3A44159 with signals applied to COM, NC, and NO pins without a supply voltage present is not recommended and could violate the absolute maximum ratings.     

    To find a signal switch that can have voltages present on NC,NO, or COM pins with out Vcc present you need to look for a switch with powered off isolation protection feature, Ioff protection, etc.


    Below is the signal switch selection tool on TI.com filtered for some the Ioff protection feature.  Looks like there are 70+ devices with this feature.  If you are looking for a 4 channel SPDT with this feature the TS3L100 or TS3V330 may be an alternative.
