MAX14662 replacement option: need negative voltage support

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CD4066B, CD74HCT4316, CD4016B

My customer is investigating MAX14662 now and I’d like to replace. Could you tell me your recommendation? They need to support negative voltage signal.

  • Sonia,

We do not have any 8 channel, 1:1 SPST, and SPI or I2C controlled switches like the MAX14662 that can support negative voltage signal. However you can look at the CD4016B, CD4066B, or CD74HCT4316 which are 4 channel, 1:1 SPST devices that can support negative voltage signals for a similar device.

Why do you need a SPI or I2C controlled switch vs one controlled by GPIOs in your system?

    Thank you,
    Adam
