Hello,

Is there a alternative to TS3A3166 analog switch which can be used for automotive application? Is it recommended to use in CAN-FD upto 2Mbps for in-vehicle-communication?

There is no device named "TS3A3166".

The automotive variant of the TS5A3166 is the TS5A3166-Q1. (It will not work with voltages outside its supply voltage, which might be a problem if your CAN bus has a common-mode voltage.)

Standard CAN-FD bus.

The TLX9175J is automotive qualified, but has lousy on-state resistance.

The CD4066B-Q1 can switch ± 10 V (when run with a ± 10 V power supply); its typical R_on might be just small enough.

Hi Lalesa,

Is the switch going to be driven from a 5V or a 12V supply?

If you are driving it with a 5V supply, then the TS5A3166-Q1. will work for your application.

For higher supply, the CD4066B-Q1 Clemen's mentioned would be the available option.
