MUX36D04: Thermal runaway/Drawing excessive current over time.

Hi, we're doing some prototyping with the MUX36D04 and realised that the device tends to slowly draw more current over time on the negative rail causing a slow thermal runaway. Anyone had this problem?

Hi,

What is the temperature used during the testing? Can you also provide the supply capacitor value/part number and voltage conditions (supply, control pins).

Hi, we've found the issue. Turns out that our PCB had the PAD shorted to ground whilst it should be connected to VSS.
