TS5A4624 and TS5A3159A / Differences of each device

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A3159A, TS5A4624

Hi all.

I would like to draw a comparison between TS5A4624 and TS5A3159A .
I saw each cost,TS5A4624 is lower than TS5A3159A, why is it?

I would like to know about Charge Injection.
What is Charge Injection?
I see puls or minus Charge Injection value.
Which is better characteristic pulse or minus value, and which should I check the absolute value or the sign?

Best Regards,
Sho Ogane

  • Hi Sho Ogane ,

What particular comparison do you want to make ? is it in terms of cost or operating voltage or current ?
I am not very sure of the charge injection myself but I will read and let you know more about it .
  • Hi Sho Ogane ,

I don't see much difference in electrical characteristics comparing both devices . both are SPDT switches with Ron typically 1ohm and same operating Vcc voltages. I see the turn on turn off times are different along with the typical bandwidth measurements from 90MHz for TS5a4624 and 105Mhz for TS5A3159A .The choices available on packages are 3 in case of TS5A3159A vs only DCK for TS5A4624 which gives more flexibility .
Regarding Charge injection , its the measure of unwanted signal from input coupled into output at the specified load capacitance and I think it needs to be absolute terms depending on the change of voltage .Its given by the equation Q=C* (del)V . Where C is load cap and (del)V is the change in output . I see that both devices have equal Charge injection(typically) ignoring the sign .
