TMUX1208: When the input voltage is higher than the supply voltage of the multiplexer the output will be above the supply voltage of the multiplexer...?

Part Number: TMUX1208
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1574

E2E,

I have been doing some testing on my board with the TMUX1208 and seeing some unexpected behavior.  My conclusion is when the input voltage is higher than the supply voltage of the multiplexer, regardless of channel selections, the output will be above the supply voltage of the multiplexer. Can you please explain the reason of such behavior?

Thank you,

Adam
