I'm required by contract to use the version of CCS I created my code with, forever. Currently, I'm trying to update a CCSv4.2.4.00033 installation with CCSv4.2.5.00005_update. Both were downloaded from the CCS website. I'm running into multiple problems with the installation.
Whenever I try to install either I get this message:
This won't go away no matter where I install the code.
Moving on, the next problem is no matter what I do, I can't get past this:
Also, I have tried to install the update after the CCSv4.2.4 install but it claims I'm trying to install 4.2.5 over 4.2.4 so I uninstalled 4.2.4 and tried to install 4.2.5 and still it crashes every time it gets to the DSP bios. I've tried unchecking the DSP bios5 and it then crashes on DSP bios6.
The installation is for SM320F2801-EP processors. Is there a bug in the update?
if you contact me offline I will do what I can to assist you. My ID is a link for a friend/conversation request.
