CCS/TMS320F28030: DSS: Launching source code with a .bat file

Hi,

my customer use CCS v7.4 and DSS.

To simplify startup, they created and used a .bat file describing "> trace_dss -f ~ .js". The .js can start but an error is detected in the readline function. Is there anything to consider when creating a .bat?

Ohhashi-san,

May I see the actual *.bat file? Or at least a portion of it where that line is used.

The call to the js file is fine in the bat file.

Can I see the js file?

The error is occurred in readline() of line 9.

Ohhashi-san,

Thank you. That usage of readline is not supported. If the customer is trying to get console input into their javascript, please have them try something like the below instead

importPackage(Packages.java.lang);

var stdin = new java.io.BufferedReader( new java.io.InputStreamReader(System['in']) )
print("Enter text and press the ENTER key to continue:");
var aLine = stdin.readLine();
print("Text entered : " + aLine);

Note that "importPackage(Packages.java.lang);" must come first.
