Hi All,

I have installed CCSv6 and I saw it does not come with J-link segger. So I installed j-link segger separately tried to debug my code.

When I click on debugging, I am getting pop up of Licence can not be acquired.

I have installed the Segger J link. You can see here-

Why am I getting this? I followed this link https://www.segger.com/products/debug-probes/j-link/technology/ides/ti-code-composer/

Hi,

I am able to activate it as it is free now. But still .y segger j link is not working..

When I am clicking the debug button, nothing happens. Even the code burning also not happening and this happen -

It stays here always.

Why?

Based on your screenshot, it looks like the target was never connected. Please check to see if autoconnect is enabled:

Hi Ki,

It was unchecked and now I checked it. But I got a different issue now. I can not see the flashing of the code into the device and also, it goes somewhere else, not in the main function. See here-

It looks like the program never got loaded but I'm not sure. Do you see anything in the Modules view?

Likely the program/symbols never got loaded. Please try manually loading the program ('Run -> Load -> Load Program')

Hi Ki,

It worked this time. How to not load each program manually? I mean on just debugging, everything should be done by it self.

It should do this automatically by default. Try deleting your debug launch configuration and/or your launch file. See 9.7.3 and 9.7.4 of: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/ccs_troubleshooting.html#delete-the-debug-launch-configuration

Actually, in the debug configuration itself, I set the path and project, and now it is working fine.
