Good Day.

Customer just installed the CCS, ControlSUIT, and Embedded support package for C2000.

He used the video instruction provided by MATLAB to install the support package.

When he was trying to use BlinkLED example, he connect the Launchpad F28379D through the USB.

But he got the message that the XDS100 installation failed.

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Please advise. Thank you very much.

Hi Ray,

This looks like MathWorks error. They can try BlinkyLed example from C2000Ware SDK or they should contact the MathWorks forum, details below.

You can also search for answers or post a question on MATLAB Answers C2000 forum. Additionally, there is info on MathWorks support C2000 in Documentation and Examples.

Good Day. Please see below the response of our customer to your reply. Thank you very much.

I went through the instruction provided by MathWorks to install the Embedded C2000 support package. I successfully installed the package and all third-party packages as provided in the link. The problem is not from the support package. Without running anything in MATLAB, when I plug in the LaunchPad F28397, it is cannot be recognized by the windows.

Can you please ask customer to run the BlinkyLED example from C2000Ware?

C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_4_01_00_00/driverlib/f2837xd/examples/cpu1/led/

Open the Windows device manager and if it is not enumerating the device, then please try to update the ftdi driver. It can be updated from following link:

https://ftdichip.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/CDM212364_Setup.zip

Also, please open the target configuration file, and run 'Test Connection' and then send the console output.
