TMS320VC5510A Not A Supported Device in CCS?

You should be able to use the TMS320C5510A option for TMS320VC5510A.

Please note that the C5510 is an obsolete device with very limited supported.

Thank you for the insight. The specific error I get is

"Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1063 @ 0x0)
Device ID is not recognized or is not supported by driver. Confirm device and debug probe configuration is correct, or update device driver.
(Emulation package 9.11.0.00128)"

Yes that is the error documented in the link I provided in my previous post. As mentioned there, the issue is typically (but not always) a hardware issue.

When was the last time you had this current configuration of the tools working with your target?
