Problem of MSP-FET430UIF connecting with target.

Hi,

I am using the MSP430FE427 micro controller and MSP-FET430UIF for debuging, when i am tring to connect the targe it will be giving the following error.

Exception occurred during launch.

Reason: Failed to initialize the debug server.

Reason: Error initializing the emulator, tried to initalizw USB FET number1, but only found 0 USB FET's

Hi Dharmpal,

Could you please provide further information?

- is you FET driver properly installed? Ie no warnings or issues in the device manager ..

- what debug and target settings are you using?

Hi Lisa,

this was due to IAR compiler was installed no my PC.

after removing the IAR this problem get solved.

Hi Dharmpal,

Glad to hear you got it working, If both IAR and CCS are installed and using different dll versions, this typically causes such an issue.
