Dear Team,

I am working on DLPNIRNANOEVM and I have setup successfully and compiled the firmware in CCS6.0.1(MainScreenshot 2024-03-28 174302)

1 . The generated NIRscanNano.bin (OutputFilesScreenshot 2024-03-28 174137)

2. The generated NIRscanNano.bin file not support by DLPNIRNANOEVM.please find attached screen shots (Screenshot 2024-03-28 174006)

3. When TIVA firmware update using factory file(original one) it successfully updated. (Default_Screenshot 2024-03-28 174045)

Hi Alex,

Thanks for suggestion but I already done this but for your concern I have checked again every things. now I found

1. CCS6.0.1 "Mobile Spectroscopy TIVA EVM" project properties->general->main->variant section MCU is different relate to our hardware please check attached image.(pastedimage1711698337417v1.png)

2. If we trying to change the MCU.(MCU_select_Screenshot 2024-03-29 135154)

3. Now clean and Build the project errors are come but if again change to previous MCU Build is done please check attached image(error_Screenshot 2024-03-29 135715)

4. Now I think that my previous second point of failure reason for wrong MCU.

I am trying to find the solution on FAQ but solution was not there.

Hello Vijay,

This is happening because of the signature variable address in memory getting changed and the GUI checks for this at a hardcoded address define below

#define FLASH_CONST_START_ADDRESS 0x00044000
#define FLASH_CONST_END_ADDRESS 0x0004E200

Where in TIVA firmware this corresponds to the memory location of app_signature constant variable in main.c. You can check the memory location of this variable in your memory map. If you do wish to flash by having this additional check then you might have to add some specific pragma instructions to have this variable stored at the above address that GUI checks for. if not you can just skip signature validation by checking the "Don't verify signature" check box in Utilities tab of GUI.

Selecting the MCU as TM4C129xNCZAD should be fine even though the actual MCU is a TM4C1297NCZAD.
