Tool/software:
I have been trying to install Code Composer Studio 11.0.0.00012 with the Component C2000 real-time MCUs ", but when installing I keep getting the error below. Can someone please assist with this. I’ve been trying to get this Installed for the last 3 days but I keep getting this error. Please help.
Installation log file showed it ended with Error Exit Code: 1
1st error "There has been an error. Unable to copy file"
2nd error "CCS_ERROR: Unable to install executable"
"C:/Users\username/AppData/Local/Temp/ccs_f3ab7920-0807 -4a72-420c-ef8d74ad8....ea5/.........Win_64.exe"
" Program ended with an error code."
Ricky I tried to install Version 12.8.1, but I got the same error message. I am trying to install this on a Windows 11 Enterprise computer. The error occurs toward the end of the installation, then I get the same error message. Below are the things I have tried, but I am still getting the same error.
I have updated all the Windows 11 updates
The install directory is C:\it\ccs1100. Gave Users group Full Control permissions on installation directory.
Created System Variable Path C:\it\ccs1100
Deleted System Variable Path C:\it\ccs1100
Ran the exe file in Windows 7 Compatibility Mode
Deleted the $Temp% folder under the end users login.
Disabled BitLocker
Disabled Antivirus
John,
Can you see if there are any logs in the install_logs folder of the installDir location you selected? If so, can you attached them for us to analyze?
Thanks,
Ricky
Oh, I just realize you provided the logs in this thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1495203/codecomposer-code-composer-studio
Are both threads tracking the same installer issues you are seeing? If so, I can close one of these thread.
Thanks,
Ricky
