It was strongly recommended to update to 4.2.5, so I did. But at the very end I got a message to also update the components using Update Manager, which I also did. At the very end I got a "Duplicate Conflicts" error window pop-up warning that parts of the product may become unusable:
DSP/BIOS
Version 5.41.0.06 in /C:/Program Files/Texas Instruments/ccsv4/eclipse/
Version 5.41.10.36 in /C:/Program Files/Texas Instruments/bios_5_41_10_36/eclipse/
I fumbled the mouse click and clicked "Yes". What damage is done? Can it be corrected? How?
Hi Steven,
This is a known issue that has been raised in the past. It is ok to hit 'Yes' and continue. We recognize that it is a confusing warning that can cause concern and is something we would like to clear up.
Thanks
