I am trying to install XDAIS in CCS new version i.e. 12.8.1. getting following error
Product XDAIS v1.0.0 is not currently installed and no compatible version is available. Please install this product or a compatible version.
How to resolve this or what alll are steps to install this and which version need to install?

You don't need to install XDAIS in CCS 12.8.1
Because it is no longer a standalone installable product in CCS 12.8.1
The error appears maybe because you're importing an older project (likely from CCS v3.3 or earlier) that has a hardcoded XDAIS dependency in its .cproject file. That dependency is not actually needed and can be safely deleted.

As per your suggestion, I checked the thread and applied the recommended changes. I’m facing issues now:
I’m getting the error:
"Referenced project 'Slave1lib' does not exist in the workspace. Project 'Quantum' may not build as expected."
I would like to know whether this issue is related to the environment setup or if the project files are missing.
Also I attempted to install CCS 3.3 for this above same legacy firmware project, but the installation is failing due to missing drivers.
Could you please help me resolve this?

The error 'Referenced project Slave1lib does not exist in the workspace' is probably happening because CCS 12.8.1 is looking for a Slave1lib project folder in the workspace, but only the pre-built Slave1lib.lib file is present. The fix is to remove that project dependency and link the .lib file directly instead.
Steps:
1. Right-click Quantum → Properties → Build → Dependencies → remove Slave1lib → Apply
2. Go to Properties → Build → C2000 Linker → File Search Path
3. Under 'Include library file (--library, -l)' → add Slave1lib.lib
4. Under 'Add dir to library search path (--search_path, -i)' → add the folder path where Slave1lib.lib is located
5. Clean and rebuild

I also recommend you to use latest version of CCS instead.

Thank you for the detailed steps and suggestion.
I followed the recommended changes by removing the Slave1lib project dependency and directly adding the Slave1lib.lib file through the linker settings. The original dependency-related error is now resolved.
However, after rebuilding the project in CCS 12.8.1, I am now encountering multiple build failures related to the compiler.
This error is reported across several source files in the InterfaceLayer, and the build fails with gmake: Target 'all' not remade because of errors.
From my understanding, this option seems to be supported in older compiler/CCS versions but is deprecated in the newer C2000 compiler used by CCS 12.8.1
I have attached a screenshot of the error messages for reference.

Thanks for your help, Issue related to --no_inlining is resolved.
I am now facing a new issue while building my C2000 project.
The compiler shows this error for many files:
fatal error #1965: cannot open-source file "bios.h"
The project uses legacy DSP/BIOS headers like bios.h, tsk.h, swi.h, and prd.h, but CCS 12 cannot find them.

I reviewed the reference thread you shared and followed the suggested steps. I attempted to install bios_5_41_10_36, but I am encountering the error shown in the screenshot. As per the instructions, I also added the required path in the Environment Variables, but the issue still persists.
