C55x profiling tools missing in CCSv5.1.1

I installed 5.1.1.00031 and I still have access to profiling on the C55x v3 cycle accurate simulator.

I am able to set it up and get results.

Are you not seeing the profiling menu items on the Tools menu?

Nope, I've just removed the 5.1.1 and re-installed 5.09.xx version

I may try to install the 5.1.1 in parallel and not into the 5.09.xx version later.

Where can I find documentation on all the new features in the c-compiler and asm tools ?

The docs on the web are from 2003/4 and can't find info on many new fetures:

ex. #pragma nnnn_MISRA or .cdecls directive

The C55x Compiler and Assembler User Guides were updated and posted late last year. They are accessible from the links on this page.

I re-installed the 5.1.1.1 in another dir than the xxx.09 version and the full tools menu is now available.
