Downgrade code generation tools from version 7.2.3 to version 7.0.5

Hello,

I am working under CCS version 4.2.4.00033 and would like to Downgrade code generation tools from version 7.2.3 to version 7.0.5.

I downloaded C6000 Code Generation Tools v7.0.5 (https://www-a.ti.com/downloads/sds_support/TICodegenerationTools/download.htm) and installed it.

I tried to switch code generation tools from CCS: Help->Software Updates->Manage Configuration->C6000 Code Generation Tools 7.2.3->Replace With Another Version, and was not able to find version 7.0.5 on the list.

Is my procedure correct?

Is it possible to downgrade from version 7.2.3 to version 7.0.5?

Hi Yaniv,

if you downloaded and installed 7.0.5 then what you can do is simply point CCS to them.

This is done under Window->Preferences->CCS->Build->Code Generation Tools

You should see the buttons to manage installed versions here. Note that you will also need to select the version you wish in your project settings. Installing an added version does not make it the default.
