CCSv5 profile clock cycle count C6713

I'm using CCSv5.2 and C6713 DSK. When I set up the profile clock it doesn't show an option to count instruction cycles. The default count option is branches. How can I count instruction cycles?

    Under the Run->Clock->Setup option, you should be able to select different events to count. Once of them should be for cycles.

    What events do you see that are available?

    I was able to reproduce the issue using CCSv5.2.1 (I had originally used CCSv5.3.0). Those events definitely look off. Looks like it was a bug that has been fixed in 5.3.0. 5.3.0 is available for download if you wish to upgrade. However the patch update is not yet available and you;ll have to wait for it to get posted if you want to do an incremental update
