  • Hi,

Which version  of windows are you using?

    Regards,

    Gautam

  • Hi,

Actually I wanted to know whether its a  32bit or 64bit OS. Anyways, did you try uninstalling the device and scanning again? Also sometimes the yellow alert symbol appears but the device is well connected with the system! So please check with that too. CCS v5.4 is responsible for auto-loading the drivers for the device; no external driver set is required.

    Regards,

    Gautam

  • it's 32bit OS. Yes I have try reinstall CCS and replug emulator. but it can't work.when I plug emulator to my computer , windows prompt below:

  • Hi,

My emulator is Spectrum Digital  XDS510 USB. It's not SEED.

    Please help me confirm it.

  • Chao,

It somehow seems that either the device drivers were not properly installed or the emulator is not properly recognized by the OS - did you try changing the USB port and see if it works (sometimes the OS fails to properly enumerate the USB devices).

Also, if the Spectrum device drivers were installed properly with your copy of CCSv5, they are usually installed at the directory below:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\SpectrumDigital\Emulation\Drivers\

Apart from this, I strongly recommend you try to connect your emulator to a different computer and isolate the problem to either the emulator (if it doesn't work either) or the PC (if it works).

One last detail: I suppose you are using the emulator natively in your PC and not through a Virtual Machine (Virtuabox, VMware, etc.), right? If you are running on a VM, check this page.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael

P.S. The link Gautam sent is for Sundance emulators, and I don't think they would work for Spectrum Digital products.

  • I'd guess you have problems with digital signature of your driver.

Please look on the web to how restart your windows to turn off the digital signature check. And then try installing your driver.

Another thing could be the locations you're installing your driver. Make sure it's the same folder as your CCS folder.

    Best,

    Sina.
