Problem to install "New Products Discovered" on CCS5.5

Hello,

when launching CCS5.5, the tool found 5 new products:
- bios_5_41_10_36
- bios_6_31_04_27
- ipc_1_22_03_23
- xdais_7_10_00_06
- xdctools_3_20_08_88

I have two problems:
- I don't exactly undersand the functionality of these tools
- I can't install them due to a problem of conflicting dependency

Please, could you help me to know what I have to do with this?

Thanks in advance

Steve

  • Hi Steve,

if you are not using BIOS in your development, you can simply forget this and cancel.   If you are using BIOS, could you please retry the screen capture and let us know.

    Cheers,

    Lisa

  • Hi Lisa,

    thanks for your answer...

My actual project doesn't use the BIOS. But I prefer to install all modules correctly for future projects...

I attached once again the picture:

I hope you can see it...

    Thanks,

    Steve

  • Hi Steve,

I would ignore this.  For some reason the update is not liking an older version being found.  You have a newer version installed already.   Also note if you have other versions from other/older ccs installations, you can much more easily add them under Window->Preferences->Code composer studio->RTSC-> products

    Best Regards,

    Lisa

  • Hello Lisa,

OK, thanks for your answer. I have other CCS versions installed on the PC. As I have the newer versions installed, I will ingnore this message...

    Best regards,

    Steve

  • Hi Steve,

ok, no worries.    Unfortunately it gets hard at times to combine things from so many different areas.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
