I need some help. I've tried to install both ccs_setup_5.4.0.00091 and ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077 on a laptop running Windows 8. While it is downloading eclipse, it says "An error was detected while performing the engine operation and the changes are being rolled back." It retries a few times, but eventually gives up with a total install failure. The anti-virus firewall was turned off. There are no logs in the install_logs folder.

Could you zip up the contents of c:\program files\installjammer registry\ccsv5 (program files (x86) on a 64 bit machine) and post them here? Note, installjammer registry is a hidden folder.

Are these the offline setups or online? Please try Offline setup by downloading setup.exe file and then try installing CCS.

I tried one last time with a downloaded version of CCSv5 (same version that I used from the USB stick). This time it failed once, but was able to rollback and recover. I don't think anything really changed to allow me to do this. There is something related to downloading eclipse. At this point, I have CCS installed.
I tried the same process on my home computer and ran into the same install failure. Attached is a zip file of the "C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallJammer Registry\ccsv5" contents.

Your anti-virus real time scanning is causing eclipse to fail. Could you temporarily turn off the scanning and anti-virus and try again, after deleting the contents of c:\ti?
