CCSv5.5 installation stuck

Hi,

I am trying to install CCSv5.5 on my Windows 8 System. But the installation gets stuck every time I try to install it.

It gets stuck at:

Installing ecslipserepo.zip ...

What is it thats going wrong? How do I proceed with the installation?

Prashansa,

Have you worked through the information on the Wiki? If you do a search for "CCS Windows8" (no quotes), you will find the article Windows 8 CCS , among others. Please look through this article for help.

Hi Prashansa,

a few notes

- I would recommend the full installer and make sure antivirus is off

- You may need compatibility mode, you may also find the v6 beta goes smoother

Please check the above. If you continue to have issues please send the installation logs. These are in the installjammer registry directory (which may be hidden and is under program files or program files (x86) )
