CCS5 Compiles fine, get error with CCS6

Tried compiling project with CCS6, get the following error:

error #10269: output file "c1202-f5336.out" exceeds code size limit
error #10010: errors encountered during linking; "c1202-f5336.out" not built

With CCS5, the code compiles no problem

Hi,

how did you import the project to v6? (Did you do Project->Import existing ccs/eclipse project. Is v6 using a different compiler version on the project? Also, have you been using the code size limited license or a full license?

Solved!

After installation, the CCSV6 did not upgrade licence but defaulted to free licence. Once I upgraded licence it worked.

Hi,

great and thanks for the update. Yes, v6 defaults to the free license and does not pop up a dialogue until something occurs requiring a full license.
