I'm currently running CCS6 and noticed that the license server log list the following:
DENIED "CCS_DEBUGGER" user@pc (License server system doesn't support this version of this feature. (-25,334:10054 ""))
Is this due to the fact that i"m using CCS5 license?
I noticed that when I'm starting CCS6 I get "full license" at the button right and then it somtimes drop to unlicensed but somtimes not.
Do I need to upgrade my icense to CCS6?
I already tried it via "myRegistered software" link but I was requested to start downloading CC6 which I already have, and all I wanted is ONLY to upgrade my license (if this will solve the above problem).
Please help.
Thanks,
Yehuda.
Yehuda,
CCSv6.1.2 and newer work with CCSv5 licenses without the need to update, therefore a new license file is mostly not needed.
Another developer reported an identical scenario and I reproduce my reply below:
discussion said:I haven't seen this message before, thus I can only guess what may be happening.
If I understood correctly, the customer also performed the license server setup using the software available in the days where CCSv5 was initially installed, right? If so, the references below indicate the newer version used by each CCSv6 client is causing these errors to appear.

In this case the customer has two alternatives:
- leave everything as-is, given that CCSv6 is working as supposed.
- update the entire license server with the newer available software in the wiki below

Please give these suggestions a try.
Hope this helps,
