How to win with CCS6 and Contiki

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2538

Hi,

The similar post is here http://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/f/156/p/287471/1182452.aspx#1182452 but as

it is more a CCS problem, so I ask here again.

I am trying to build Contiki port to CC2538dk and following the example from http://embedded-funk.blogspot.de/2014/02/running-contiki-27-cc2538dk-demo.html it runs under CodeBlocks IDE.

I would like to do similar thing using CCS6 and have a programming and debugging environment

After creating a project as I described in an above link, I can build it successfully, but only once. After that the "clean" doesn't work and "rebuild" doesn't work when working with CCS. (It works under CodeBlocks)

Any hints, please?

  • Hi Jagas, Leo,

I'm also struggling to set up Thingsquare mist stack for cc2538 in ccs6.
I'm not a fan on lunix and would like to get a contiki tool chain working in windows.
Eclipse CCS is a popular  toolchain for embedded developers, I'm surprised Thingsquare dose not support this toolchain with there development kit.

    Did you get this working?

Willing to share you Project config files?

    Regards Darren

  • Was this ever resolved?  I'd like to use CCS's debugging with the Contiki 3.0 stack.

  • I, too, would like to know if there is a solution to this.  I need to develop applications for several TI micros with either the Contiki OS or RIOT.
