Issue when migrating the project from CCSv3.3 to CCSv5.x

Hi,

My customer is working on an existing DSP project which uses DM643x Chip.

 Earlier they used CCSV3.3 which compiles well in that environment, but recently migrated to CCSV5.x and when they tried to compile the same project (legacy CCSV3.3 project) it is giving the below error 

#35 #error NO CHIP DEFINED (use -dCHIP_XXXX where XXXX is chip number, i.e. 6201).

Are there any careabouts to consider before they move to CCSv5.x?

For now, I have provided them the following links to check. I might be missing something or is there a better document or link that could resolve their issue?
