I get this error repeatedly when I try to do today's auto update
Hi Roy,
Unfortunately, the message is a little misleading. Here's what the eclipse developers have to say about this issue:
Yes, the problem seems to occur near release date (today I could install too). However, if the problem is a connectivity problem (because of the servers being overloaded), Eclipse should say that, rather than "No repository found". The "No repository found" error is misleading, because make people think that:
- there's no site with the needed contents
- Eclipse update does not work
Please try the following workarounds:
Go to Help -> Install New Software.
Click on the "Add..." button and add this site
Unselect the checkbox "Contact all update sites during install to find required software" right at the bottom of the pane.
Please let me know if this helps.
