stellaris launchpad lm4f support on ccs6.1 --- how do I start a 'new project'

Dear FORUM,

I want to do some work on LM4F120 H5QR   ---   yes this is the TI Stellaris Launchpad   ---   just need to do some S/W maintenance after a couple of years.

QUESTION ---    how do I start a new project in CCS 6.1 for Stellaris LM4F  ????

I miss the ease of starting it up since I last used it in CCS v 5 days.     And before TIVA.      And is Stellaris / ARM compiler still unlimited code size  -  or 32K code size???

Thank you for your patience in answering this 'legacy product' question !!

Cheers.

  • Hello Otto,

To start a brand new project, go to 'Project -> New CCS Project' and use the New Project Wizard to create your project:

There is no code size limit. And there is no restriction at all (debugging) if you are using the LaunchPad with the integrated debug connection (Stellaris ICDI I believe).

    Thanks
