MSP430: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0x4400 on Page 0 of Length 0x3ee2: **Error**: Serial Communication failed at port: COM65, baud rate:9600!

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4403, AFE4403EVM

CCS6 cannot connect to target  AFE4403 EVM , USB0,1,2  all fail, UART either.   MSP-FET430UIF  Jtag Emulator talk normally the target AFE4403 EVM.

I do not know what is wrong in CCS6 which is free license.  Do I have to purchase regular Licensed CCS software to attach the target automatically& properly ?

============  Below is detection error  ( AFE4403EVM COM port is  20 ,  not  65.   I do not know where 65 comes from .  )

To use serial monitor, please ensure the following prerequisites are satisfied: 1. Make sure the cable is plugged into both the target and the host on the right COM port. 2. Make sure a compatible target side serial monitor is loaded and running on the target device.

MSP430: File Loader: Verification failed: Target failed to write 0x4400

MSP430: GEL: File: D:\WristWatchFW\CES_HRMWatch_PC_EVM_GUI_v2.0-CCS\Debug\CES_HRMWatch_PC_EVM_GUI_v2.0-CCS.out: Load failed.
