Searching the file folders, hangs the CCS3.3 editor

Hi, 

I'm using the CCS3.3, with OMAP L137 platform.

I don't face this issue all the time, but whenever i'm using continuously to search some code in my project, after finishing the search the CCS tool totally hangs, and shows non-responding and never comes back alive.  Its not sporadic, neither continuous , but once its gets the problem I need to close the CCS tool, for almost every search I make. its very frustrating, when i'm in the middle of debugging the code, and losing the track of what I do, and I have to forcefully close the tool and open it again set the environment every single time.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi Nancy,
    Are you working with a very large project (i.e. a lot of source files)? And where are those files - local or remote (i.e. network drive)? And are you working with ClearCase dynamic views? All three mentioned can have a negative impact on performance.

    Hi Ki,
    Thanks for the response.
    Its not a big project, and carried out from local drive not on remote, and I'm not using Clear-Case dynamic view it is just accessed from the local drive.

    Try disabling CodeSense and see if that helps. The quickest way to do this is to go into your CCSv3.3 installation and rename cwsense.dll in .\cc\bin
