Hi,
My customer failed to update OnBoard XDS200 Emulator on K2H EVM.
They are trying to update the latest version of Emupack -- version 6.0.228.0. This can be downloaded from the following link:
After the installation completed, xds200_firmware_v1008.bin and some related files (ex, xds200_cpld_v1008) will be found at ${TI_ENV}/ccsv6/ccs_base/common/uscif/xds2xx. Now issue the following the command to update xds200. Please note they are using Linux host (Ubuntu14.04) for this.
update_xds2xx.sh xds200
It seems they are failing to update CPLD in the above script and eventually failing to connect CCS via OnBoard XDS200. Now OnBoard XDS200 can not be enumerated as USB CDC-ACM.
Now I have some questions :
1. First of all, is this Emupack updater applicable for "OnBoard" XDS200 ? I'm concerned this updater is only applicable for normal type of XDS200 emulator.
2. Do you have any way to restore the factory state in field ?
Best Regards,
Naoki
