CCS/CCSTUDIO: Is there a 64bit version of CCS for windows?

I would like to control CCS (v6 or v7) with Matlab on Windows. However, when I control CCS with a 64bit version of Matlab I get errors. When I switch to a 32bit version of Matlab things work fine. I would like to use the 64bit version of Matlab as that is our standard install build.

I do not see a Windows 64bit version of CCS. Is there one and if so how do I download it?

I use MathWorks R2016b (win64) and CCSv6 just fine on my Win10 laptop. What version of MathWorks SW are you using? MathWorks SW is compatible for CCSv6 starting with R2015a. We have no official support for CCSv7 yet, but we are working on it.

I am using Matlab v2014b.

Just to clarify I am accessing CCS through Matlab with these libraries:
import com.ti.ccstudio.scripting.environment.*;
import com.ti.debug.engine.scripting.*;
import java.lang.System;

We have another application that could use Matlab 2016b so maybe now if is the time to upgrade.

I've never tried to connect to CCS IDE via MATLAB, so I cant offer much help here. Does your R2014b work with CCSv5?

Yes, Matlab 2014b integration works with CCSv5 & 6 long as I use the 32bit version of Matlab.

Your first response indicates you had this working with Matlab 2016b. Can you clarify how you control CCS with Matlab 2016b or did you misunderstand my first post?

Is there a 64bit version of CCS on windows? I see Linux CCS is only 64bits now so I assumed there would be a 64bit version of CCS windows.

Sorry, I use the MathWorks C2000 Support Package.

I don't manually script a connection to CCS, so I've never tried that on any version of MathWorks tools. I usually generate code, download, and directly run from SImulink. Or in some cases, I generate code and import to CCS, and run there using CCS.
