Thank you. With this guidance I should be able to get going.

However, I've got a question in passing (nothing serious and I can do without its answer)

Are you guys deprecating Template usage?

User Guide for DriverLib describs a way to create an empty project using Driver Library or adding driver library to existing project.

but now, we don't see those template options in CCS.

    This should still work. The key is that you need to follow the steps documented in the Driverlib Users Guide.

    As mentioned in that post, be sure to follow the steps in the section "How to create a new CCS project that uses Driverlib" of the Driverlib Users Guide while paying attention to this note:
    "For driver library to work with the new project wizard CCS must have discovered the driver library RTSC product. For more information refer to the installation steps of the release notes."
