CCS/TM4C1237H6PZ: HW Watchpoint under CCSv6.2 issue

Hi Support,

my customer is not able to set HW Watchpoints using CCSv6.200050.

You can find pictures below in which the set field is missing. How can they sovle this?

Hi Alberto,
I'm suspecting that in the first screenshot (where the option is available), the customer right-clicked in the Breakpoints view while in the second screenshot (where the option is missing), the customer right-clicked in the Disassembly view. Can you confirm?

Hi Ki,

I am the customer you are taking about. Unfortunately I can't confirm your suspect; I have the second screenshoot also when I right-click in the "Breakpoint" view.

Hello Daniele,

When you use the dropdown menu in the Breakpoints view, what options do you see? Can you provide a screenshot similar to mine where you show the Breakpoints view (with dropdown options) and also the Debug view?

I am using Stellaris Debug probe (as my colleagues).

Can you specify better what screenshot do you need?

The view on the left is the Debug view while the view on the right is the Breakpoints view. I am looking for a graphic that shows the state of both (including the menu items of the breakpoints view)

Thank you. There is clearly something unusual here. It could be the variant of your device. Can you try two last things:

1) Run the CCS Updater and update your "TI Emulators" package. The latest version is 6.0.628.1. Try again after the update. If that does not help, can you do step #2

2) Can you create a breakpoint of any sort on any address (we just need a breakpoint entry in the Breakpoints view) and the right-click on the entry it in the Breakpoints view and select "Breakpoint Properties". Once the properties dialog is opened, go to "Hardware Configuration -> Type" and show me the list available in the dropdown. If a Watchpoint option is missing, then it is potentially a driver issue.
