Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have the MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool and MSP-TS430RHA40A, I recorded the MSP430FR5737 device with the ccs v7.3, and I did not protect. I lost the original file and can not read the device to recover the file. Can someone help me ?

Hello Isabel,
Please confirm if I understand your question correctly. I believe you are saying that you flashed your program on your device and flash is not protected. Then you lost your original program and would like to read the program off the device. But you are unable to read that memory on the device.

Is that correct?

If it is, then I don't see why you are unable to read the memory if the memory is not protected. What is the exact issue you are experiencing? Is it unable to access the device in general or just the memory contents?

Yes, I do not know how to read the contents of the device, and generate a .bin or .hex file

I believe the simplest method is to start a project-less debug session to connect to your device and then use the "Save Memory" feature in the Memory Browser view to save the applicable contents of memory to a binary file on the host.
