Hi,

I need to program MSP430F5505 controller using MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool.I installed code composer studio v4.0 But MSP430F5505 series controller is not available.Can you please help to identify which is the right software version i should use to program the controller.

I see the support in the current version of CCS which is CCSv8.0. It is available for download here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS

Hi John,

Thanks for the feedback.Ill try with CCSv8.0.Between is there any other light software that can be used for programming MSP430F5505.

MSP430 is also supported by IAR. It is a somewhat lighter tool. Another option is to use CCS Cloud which is a lot lighter as it is Cloud based. You can access it at dev.ti.com. You can also import examples from Resource Explorer directly into CCS Cloud (also on dev.ti.com)
